Bloomin' Bluegrass Festival 2024
The 15th annual Bloomin' Bluegrass Festival! This event, a four-time nominee for the IBMA Bluegrass Event of the Year Award, is presented by the City of Farmers Branch Texas and Bluegrass Heritage Foundation (www.BluegrassHeritage.org).
It's a great weekend of jamming, family fun, and award-winning bluegrass music!
The list of artists scheduled to perform on the main stage includes the Del McCoury Band, Rhonda Vincent & the Rage, the Dan Tyminski Band, Blue Highway, Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper, the Gibson Brothers, Ronnie Bowman & the Tim Shelton Syndicate, East Nash Grass, Texas & Tennessee featuring Steve Huber, and the Purple Hulls with Banjo Ben Clark, plus a whole lineup of additional artists on our Grassroots stage! Special Guest this month: Philip Vasquez, owner of Oakdale RV Park in Glen Rose, Tx. Oakdale Park is celebrating their 100th year. Philip is hosting the podcast “From Moonshine to the Moon, 100 Years of Camping in America” to commemorate this unprecedented milestone. https://100.alitu.com . He will be at our jam meeting to record interviews with club members on their experiences camping, jamming, and performing at Oakdale RV Park.
WYLIE JUBILEE BLUEGRASS ON BALLARD
The Bluegrass Heritage Foundation and city of Wylie, Texas present the Wylie Jubilee Bluegrass on Ballard, an incredible celebration of freedom in the center of historic downtown Wylie, Texas. The Jubilee features live music by world-class bluegrass bands as well as an amazing car show, arts and crafts, and much more. Bring your instruments and JAM JAM JAM all day!

Bluegrass Gospel Jam & Gospel Singing - Hurst, TX
Southwest Bluegrass Club presents music Benefiting the Mercy Cares Food Distribution Program
10:00am – 1:30 will be Bluegrass Gospel jams in small groups in many rooms.
A nice Lunch will be served from 12:00 – 1:30, ticket price is $10, and proceeds will go towards Mercy Cares. Must sign up for headcount.
1:30, all instrumentalists will go to the sanctuary to play 7 of the top bluegrass gospel songs.
Followed by Mercy Cares presentation and an old-fashioned gospel singing.
Donations of single packaged non-perishable food appreciated.
